Designed around the vibrant spirit of a Jatara, the restaurant brings together the colours, energy and cultural character of Telangana within a contemporary dining environment.

The interiors were conceived as an immersive expression of Telugu food and culture, reflecting the local identity of Hyderabad while creating a space that feels warm, lively and celebratory. Rather than directly recreating a traditional setting, the design interprets familiar cultural elements through materials, craft, artwork, colour and spatial details.
Warm timber, terracotta screens, patterned flooring and handcrafted elements establish a tactile architectural language throughout the restaurant. A sequence of timber arches creates rhythm and depth, guiding movement through the dining spaces while visually connecting the different zones.

Jatara themed wall mural
The walls become an important part of the experience through hand-painted murals depicting scenes of celebration, music, people and everyday life. These artworks, together with traditional-inspired objects, textiles and decorative elements, bring a sense of movement and storytelling to the interiors.

The resulting space is intentionally vibrant and informal - a contemporary restaurant that celebrates the character of Jatara through colour, craft, art and atmosphere.
